Well, the edges are not cut clean and the print appears to be solvent based. I am guessing off of a Roland or Mimaki type printer. We use Latex (eco friendly) printers here, that have superior quality and color. I wonder if I could get a copy of the graphic from them. Additionally, the films we use are made by 3M. Kind of like what people use for boat/car wraps. I hope to have it done today.

-=AlexXx=-, have you ever had a New or Remote graphic peel off?

Won't the vinyl base eventually just peel off? Didn't Oak try this one year and give up on it?

I've got a blank cassette that I applied this material to last year, and it's still rocking solid. It might have to do with the person applying them... Plus, you have to slightly wrap the decal about a 1/4" up the sides (so water doesn't just get under and rip it off). I'm not sure, but it will be fun to find out. Besides, if my graphic rips off, I'll just make another one Laughing

wakeshredder, it really shouldnt peel off..... maybe if you hit a nail in a rail or something detrimental like that. But that would do damage to any board. I wouldnt worry about it, but ive never even gotten graphics on any of my NEW boreds because its just not important.

-=AlexXx=-, Yeah, I know. It just seems like a shame to have all the tools to make a steezy graphic at my finger-tips and not do anything with it. Smash

I could care less if the graphic came off, It's just the kind of thing I am into.

Here are some pics of the Cassette I did...

-LoGiK-, Did the printing on your board seem a bit blurry and dull? It's not the guys at New's fault. Just the printing process they are using, IMO. As far as peeling off... that's just the nature of the game...

So, here is the Remote with a new graphic. Essentially the same, minus the "39.5 Pastura"... I think the colors are much sharper and that the graphic will hold... we'll see.

wakeshredder, That looks good. few Q's. which printer are you using? Are you using 3m control tac? Did you put a lamination on it? Also did you apply that directly to the other graphic?

I did some skate boards a year ago. They looked great. Only problem was board and tail slides. It didn't last for more than 10 slides.

Well, it is 3M Control Tac. I printed it on an HP L65500 printer (latex inks, eco friendly). I know that it won't last forever, but definitely does last long while. It has 3M overlam as well. My Cassette has slid many times with no issues outside of scuffs. I pull the graphic up around the sides and seal it with an acrylic edge sealer to prevent water from getting underneath and ripping it off. We'll just have to see how this one fares. I am in a lucky positions where even if it does come off, I can make more. PS, did anyone notice the R Star I added to the center of the O in REMOTE? Just for fun...
