Wakeskate Video game

i remember playing a wakeskate game on my computer i thinki got the link off here.
even if all the wakeskaters in the world bought a copy(very unlikely) it would be very unprofitable for a large game development company to make a game for a major console like the xbox 360 for example.

I will have to agree with Pirate on this one. Not so much on the "limiting" reasons stated, just on the fact that wakeskating is so small in comparison to other sports. Plus, the only cool video games are Mario 1 and 3 anyway.

I hate to be a debbie-downer here, but I think that video games are retarded. Additionally, I don't think this sport needs any more attention than it's got. We have all found ways to cope with it being a tight-knit sport. Developing things like winch's, so even the poorest of us can feasibly go out and ride all the time it's nice out. And as far as when it is not nice, well video games are only gonna keep you lazy! At least with the flat-to-flat game that was passed around on this site some time ago, it was fun but not mesmerizing. I recommend someone spend more time developing trainers, like Indo-Board's and such that will only help your REAL game out on the water. That is just my honest opinion. American's need to lay down the controllers and poor out the high fructose corn garbage (pop). Go outside for f#$& sake Exclamation

It will come sooner or later. I have a whole notebook just dedicated to the game design of this thing. I am trying to find time right now, between working 12-16 hr days and have a wife and 2 kids and wakeskating/skateboarding, I don't have any time to program at home. I really just need motivation to stay home and work on the graphics engine and that is why i asked for other wakeskaters that would be interested in developing it. I just don't think there are many video game programmer wakeskaters out there Sad

So it comes down to a solo project so I am currently trying to pull back scope so i can tackle it myself.

Like I said, the only way it's gonna happen is if it's made into an all boardsports game...combine the ability to snowboard, skateboard, and wakeskate and you got a winner
