not really a lake house but it's our's lot at the lake where my wife and I go. I just built the deck and pier and still need to finish the pier and get it in the water. Our lake is an old coal strip mining pit that got filled with water after they were done mining the coal out. It's a good mile long stetch with a 1/2 mile T section in the middle and it's about 30' deep throughout.

Breeeeett, it's Essex Rec Club in Essex, IL... real close to you. Nice to see another local on here. Our lake is private, memeber only type thing, and it's across the street from Shannon Shores.

Viking430, Yeah the water is really high now. I believe it is a little over full pool. Our gangplank was under water a few weeks ago because the water was up so much
