I was surprised to see this when i opened my new Wakeboarding mag...which i have begun to hate due to all the shatty ads and BS they put in them now but it looks like they actually found something worth putting in this time. Sorry for the crappy scan.

I have that shot as a print framed at my lakehouse, beside the underwater shot of danny on the obscura.

I was surprised when i saw this too, but it was quite refreshing. Bringing it back to the main OG's of wakeskating, so sick.

I just think thomas' situation is totally unique because he was the complete package. As an entrepreneuer and starting cassette from scratch, he not only had ideas and concepts for branding and identity, but he was also a rider who had design concepts and could ride that stuff the way it needed to be ridden. And then on top of that he and the other guys (including josh johnson and justin tucker) kept all of the team filming and editing in house. I don't think that entire package has been done like that before, or at least not to the extent that cassette was able to do it. That's why I'm simply Shocked .

electricsnow, Defiantly, Thomas was indeed the complete package a fusion of entrepreneurship, innovation, conceptualization, and of course hammer throwing Smile

He killed it on the water and off the water.... its so sad to see him gone from the industry.... At least hes putting his mind into his other passion.

He had some pretty extreme views back in the day about what wakeboarding was all about. For example he dissed Double Up for using a company that also made water skiis to press its boards. This is what Collin Wright is talking about at the beggining of Decline.
