I debated posting this, so here'goes. It was a project I recently completed on our independent study module. The idea was to make something with a grunge style. This was actually really easy to do because there are some great tutorials on making brushes, and some blogs that either have some textures for you to use, or it just gives you even more ideas on making your own. Anyway, the ball is rolling.

mojo, I totally agree with that. If I ever did that again I'd like to try scanning in an actual polaroid and then putting my image in it, but trying to dull it some.
Thanks tad!!

yookyle, it's web and digital media development stuff. For this class, we're learning advanced photoshop techniques, along with fireworks, in design, and more in depth work with illustrator. Then in my other class we're working with flash and now the flex platforms. (which are dope!)
thanks for the feedback and compliments! Alexxx, the thread was either going to be called what it is, or I was going to name it "from me to you" (based on pirate's latest thread).

that graphic needs to be on a cassette wakeskate sickness!
would've been magical in the 02 line, maybe a purple 42" concave
Chris Mack would be proud.
edit ..
ok now i see, a deck that has a lil more availability that is.
how many of those we're made?

that 04 flat deck? I'm not too sure. I know some decks from the line went out to shops, but I'm not sure on numbers. I thought they only made one run of these boards, and one time I heard a number on the a.reed pro model, which was something like 50 or 100 decks (there's a large spread there because I can't remember which number it is, but that's still not a lot of wakeskates). I've personally accepted that I'll never have every cassette wakeskate from 2004...that's how limited they are.

It's just a sticker that I had thrown on there to take a pic and send to someone seeing if they were up for it... too costly for it to be worth it though. No money at the moment. I need a winch so the cost of gas isn't so harsh on the wallet.

kyle13, thanks! I actually already majored in english and minored in writing, but now I'm also pursuing a minor in web and digital media development. I just have two courses left, both of which will be flash oriented.
