I picked up a second job and I start next week.

with that second job, I ordered an imac, and cannot wait.

now i get to wait days for it to deliver, then wait hours while installing FCP, CS4 package, and transfer all my tunes

416, the studio i worked at might have 1 permission left on their CS4 suite..if not then maybe coughdemonoidcough

im pretty excited to play on FCP studio again though

Yep, that will be in CS5. It'll also be 64bit in OSX (finally!). That's all I know off the top of my head, but that's reason enough to skip CS4 IMO.

damn. I bought the cs4 master collection last fall through school and to see that little photo shop clip leaves me wanting to upgrade.

Adobe is offering a very nice discount on Photoshop CS5 right now....it's $200...normally $1k.

Maybe it would be worth it to just upgrade photoshop and flash, since those are the programs I use the most. 200.00 isn't bad considering what the whole MC cost, but I was able to buy that through the university.

Yeah. I'm not sure what improvements have been made for Flash CS5, but it looks like you can upgrade any CS4 program for $200.
