pretty sick fish caught not long ago up by my cottage... weighed more than 1000 lbs and measured 11'1" and took over 6 and a half hours 4 dozen beers and 4 guys taking turns trying to reel him in. pretty impressive for a reletivly small lake

omg that was in a lake? looks like could be found on that river monster show on animal planet or discovery or w/e. insane.

yeah sturgeon, and it was in found in the lake of woods in kenora ontario which is a pretty big lake. apperently sturgeon 5 feet long or bigger must be let free.

hahha yeah i guess so... hah i dunno why though. my lake doesnt have a fish bigger than 2' in it so i dont have to worry about it

they are endangered species and one that big is EXTREMELY rare prolly over 20 years old, i hope they released it back into the water successfully

conservation ftw.
