i dont watch a lot of tv but this LIFE series on discovery is pretty interesting. its on sundays @8. check it out if you like thought-provoking shows instead of horse s h i t like jersey shore, 16 & pregnant, etc etc.

just wait a few years until it's 3-d HDTV. i believe either espn or the NFL(could be both) and for sure discovery will be the first channels broadcasting it.

LIFE is awesome. ive seen all four episodes so far and it is amazing. a very very interesting show. the next one about the deep ocean should be good. Very Happy

they shoulda got the old guy from planet earth to do the voice over not oprah, she kills it for me, however, placing it on mute and putting some chilled music in the background is really the best way to watch it

Luckily theirs the BBC version of life that's narrated by David Attenborough online and I think its coming to dvd this summer

maybe it was a mistranslation of what i actually said, which was "i dont think oprah was the best choice to narrate..."

what i was disagreeing with you on is your exact words, which were "Oprah ruined it". I feel that a more appropriate narrator could have been chosen, but in no way, shape, or form is this incredible series ruined. you would be hearing the same script being read regardless of the narrator, so how is it ruined? did you and oprah have a bad breakup or something?

Oprah's voice combined with the fact that they seem to dumb it down like a middle school educational video makes me just want to mute it. Planet earth was more breathtaking and the narrator was not constantly talking. I do think the footage is incredible though. I can't imagine how many hours of throw away footage they have.
