|
|
| Does anyone have any good recomendations on how to watch tv on my laptop? I currently do not have cable in my room and was wondering if there is a safe way to do this for free or at a reasonable cost. Ive looked around a bit for answers but all the information I have found is outdated or seems virus ridden. So I figured I would ask my fellow wakeskating.comer's. |

| Download Avast Anti-Virus > Download Vuze Torrent Downloader > http://eztv.it/ > search for any show you would like, most popular shows download fast and if you do not like storing them you can just deleted them right after you watch. Ive got like a 1.5 TB of media, you can always visit http://torrentz.com/ for movies/shows/games, and i usually only get music from http://www.demonoid.com, also full seasons of shows i get there too. shizzle fire and sure beats expensive cable/dvr crap that is taking over Television. I do not have cable either and this is far better and doubt i will ever pay for cable because of it. Also its great for Movies because i never have to waste 10 bux to go see a movie at the theatre, or rent any, and the files i download are usually 1080p so its great quality. I got The Hurt Locker like 6 months before it came to the US, no1 even knew what it was when i told them to see it haha. Torrents ftw. If you have any questions PM me or IM me! |

be careful a friend of mine got in trouble for downloading just the types of files alexx speaks about. once he got a warning, then he got his internet suspended for a month or so, and finally they threatened a lawsuit so he stopped. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. mojo, i dout he was using torrents... he was prob using something different. I also had a friend get a warning from Warner Brothers, that was a pretty crazy letter and threat. Downloading things from Limewire and napster and other 3rd party downloaders like that are where u can get caught. Torrents are simple links on websites where you download 1000's of tiny parts from 100's of people at a time so its harder to trace. Napster was what my friend was using.
Like right now im downloading the new office episode from 18 different people out of the 3713 that are sharing it and there are 8414 also downloading that same file right now with me, and im sharing it with 30 people already and i only have 40% of it thus far. |

| stompin9s, I like downloading them because its nice to watch a movie or show on long car rides and plane rides, also when i go home to visit my parents and am board as crap i bring my laptop and some time watch some shows/movies. But ya, for the general person streaming Hulu or what not would suffice. |

20,000 US BitTorrent users sued; 30,000 more lawsuits pending
"The number of Americans targetted by entertainment industry lawsuits nearly doubled this month, as the the US Copyright Group ("an ad hoc coalition of independent film producers and with the encouragement of the Independent Film & Television Alliance") brought suit against 20,000 BitTorrent users. 30,000 more lawsuits are pending, bringing the total number of US entertainment industry lawsuit defendants up to 80,000 (when you include the 30,000 victims of the RIAA)."
its only a few specific movies, but lookout!
