winch4fun, sorry that this is off topic, but how did you do such a good job full gripping that board? i'm going to re grip mine this spring and i want mine to look that good!

Gnarly Dancer 42, well i never really liked the two piece grip integrity gives you with the decks, ive always liked the full look...so i used the two pieces as a template on the full sheet. ill take step by step pictures if you would like, but it goes a little something like this:

1. buy your full sheet (i got mine from boardstop.com). once you get it in, unroll it and place the edge of one side on the edge of your kick tail on the integ.

2. find the other end of your boards kick tail with your finger and make a small cut in the grip with a knife or razor blade or soemthing.

3. cut the excess piece off (you should have a full sheet now give or take about 38" if your doing this for a tnt)

4. heres where your two piece sheets come in... flip over the full sheet where the grip side is on the ground. place your two pieces on the side facing you. be sure to put them end to end. you will have a gap in the middle. with a sharpie or pen or pencil, outline the provided jessup grip. complete the lines so they will meet

5. cut out the new grip you have and it should be the exact fit to your deck. save the backing from your new sheet for your template if you ever re-grip

6. should end up something like this (my other deck)

electricsnow, nope, this is the 2nd one ever made as i was told when i talked to them on the phone. ryan had the first one. its a 2009 38.65 birch core orange and gray perseverance. i have pictures of it floating around on here somewhere, might be in the lipsticks thread
