I hope this hasn't been discussed already. I searched for it and couldn't find anything, but I just saw Nick Taylor's part in the Integrity team video and can't get over how sick his board looks with a full sheet of grip. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this! I've got last years team 38.65 with the 2 piece grip right now

Gnarly Dancer 42, well i never really liked the two piece grip integrity gives you with the decks, ive always liked the full look...so i used the two pieces as a template on the full sheet. ill take step by step pictures if you would like, but it goes a little something like this:

1. buy your full sheet (i got mine from boardstop.com). once you get it in, unroll it and place the edge of one side on the edge of your kick tail on the integ.

2. find the other end of your boards kick tail with your finger and make a small cut in the grip with a knife or razor blade or soemthing.

3. cut the excess piece off (you should have a full sheet now give or take about 38" if your doing this for a tnt)

4. heres where your two piece sheets come in... flip over the full sheet where the grip side is on the ground. place your two pieces on the side facing you. be sure to put them end to end. you will have a gap in the middle. with a sharpie or pen or pencil, outline the provided jessup grip. complete the lines so they will meet

5. cut out the new grip you have and it should be the exact fit to your deck. save the backing from your new sheet for your template if you ever re-grip

6. should end up something like this (my other deck)

What should I do if I don't have the backs for my 2 piece sheets anymore?

take 3 sheets of skate grip, cover it, file the edges, and cut it.

You can buy a full sheet from these sites:

http://www.integrity-wake.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=acc2010tape
($20 + Shipping)

http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.php?products_id=3062
($20 + Shipping)

http://www.othersideboardsports.com/jessup-wakeskate-grip-tape.html
($15 shipped)

I bought mine from othersideboardsports.com since they have the best deal. Their service seemed very poor though since I ordered it on January 25th and it's still not here... I called them last week and they said they don't know how it happened and it would be here 2 days ago. I guess we will see when it gets here.

Make sure the grip rolls over the edges of the concave on the sides and the tips!

Essential.

nick, you should show the people where you put your feet. Just to open up some minds a little. Once I figured that foot plavement out it was "essential". it seems like most people that ride your board put there feet in the same comfortable spot as other boards not utilizing those kicktails etc. I think a MS paint work of art is in order Smash

Like this!!! Be sure to cut out the shape of your state, or you're not cool like Lemons... Wink

*and yes, dull razor blades lead to janky grip jobs.

ShutItDown, I roll mine over the edes more than that. And I roll mine all the way over the nose and tail. Where your foot works best on the integs, it's kinda important to have the grip roll over the nose and tail. I have some slippery times before I figured that out.

G.K.D., That looks good, but there is so much bare spot on that board, I would hurt myself. haha

Well, it finally came in and I took Nick's advice and wrapped it over. Does it look ok? It was my first wakeskate grip job. It also came with an Obscura/DVS hat that is made out of paper or something. lol
