Why is it that people can't make a solid decision for themselves?
I find myself wondering what happened to the wakeskate community.
Why is it that everytime a new deck comes out everyone jumps on the bandwagon, just long enough for the buzz to carry them to the next "big thing"
I really thought that this small community had a better sense of things, but lately everything I read is just a regurgitation(s/p?) of something someone else said or a twist on something someone else said. "yeah so and so your right" or "so and so said it was this way so..."
The latest bi-level thread is a pefect example.
Some of the things I read on here make me sick to my stomach.

If there is any hope for the future of wakeskating it is diversity. Not one board is right for everyone, no matter what the latest press release says.
Do yourselves a favor and ride as many boards as you possibly can and then ride them again. Find out what works for you, not what works for the guy on the internet that landed the latest hot trick

lastly, Support rider owned, you'll sleep better at night.

seven11dmd, I realize that not everyone can ride every board. but you and anyone else that must rely on sources like this website would benefit if the people that can ride alot of boards actually did ride alot of boards instead of just buying what's hot. You know what I mean.

I remember that like a year ago me and my friends would make our own wakeskates and we would be happy with them. If one thing is going to ruin this industry its the fact that people are forgetting what wakeskating is truly about, freedom.

i think that all the companys are pretty much the same, it the name that everyone is paying the big bucks for. the decks come down to this... size, grip/foam, concave/flat, and now single or double decker. all companys have these aspects with the exception of the bilevel. if you are wanting advice on what a new deck is like picture yourself riding the skate you are on with a different color or picture.

Man, I am astonished at that staement.

I don't mean any disrespect, but you are exactly what my post was directed at. Seriously man, there is a huge difference in the way boards ride.

Russian the 11teen year olds have taken over. They are not capable of free thought at that age. I don't read most of the board related posts after page one, It has gotten too weird. I just ride my lunch tray till I find something else i can ride that I like more.
