| i was snowboarding today listening to my ipod when suddenly my music stopped. i pulled out my ipod and starting playing music again, than again it paused. my i touch has been pausing like clockwork every since then and some times when i look at it the volume bar is gone. i dont think it has anything to do with it being wet because wouldnt it just go all white? i just wanted to see if this happened to anybody or if anyone has an expertise to fix my itouch thanks |

| First off its a mac... not surprised it doesn't work like it should. Second, my g/fs mac book thing just got a random ass grey screen and some question mark in the middle the thing wont even turn on. Mac is trash. Sorry i cant help you, my ipod color did this too, and also just turned off all the time for no reason. Biggest waste of money ever. |

very easy fix. boot it from the cd and figure out whats wrong instead of constantly complaining about mac. take a bit of initiative for once |

| Im not sure about the volume bar thing.. but it pausing could just be from the cold.. My buddies always did it when it was in the outside pocket of his coat.. I keep mine in the pocket of my shirt under my jacket and never have a problem. |

Yeah dude, is the question mark in a folder when you boot it up? jJust means its missing a file on startup.
Heres the instructions;
Insert the Mac OS X Install or Restore disc.
Restart the computer, then hold the C key during startup.
From the Apple menu, choose Disk Utility. Do this in the first screen of the Installer. Don't click Continue. If you click Continue in a Mac OS X Installer version earlier than 10.2, you must restart from CD again.
Click the First Aid tab.
Click Repair Disk.
After repairing the disk, try to start from the Mac OS X hard disk.
either that or the macbooks have been known for losing a solder when it gets hot. either way they should fix it, i've been out of warranty a few times on my mac gear, i just keep calling and whining to different people, explain how frustrated you are with apple etc and they will fix it.. |

dylo, thanks all forward her this message. Appreciate it.
mojo, im not pessimistic at all? The cup is always half full for me, unless the cup is made by mac, or endorsed by Obama, sorry i have opinions. Apparently you were raised to follow society and its ways a little to much where you have been brain washed to lack your own opinion.Your being just as prejudice by saying "thanks for the mass murders and spread of fairy tales." as lumpy is by saying what he did. At least be consistent if your going to verbally attack some one for something they are doing, its just hypocritical if you do it right back.
lumpy pants, I have never said a negative thing about any religion or race... just because i dont like mac products doesnt make me any specific religon. |

yookyle, what kind of ipod do you have? I have a photo (pretty old) and I used it for a while. I got some screen that said it was dead. I threw it in a box. Then a friend found it and he happened to be into fixing that stuff.. all he did was take it apart and clean out all the dust and make sure all the connections were in all the way. FIXED. Before he did this though I would experience the turning off in really cold weather when I was snowboarding. Not anymore though.
Hope this helps.
Side note.
I love the fact that AlexXx hates everything mac. You seriously run into every problem and you don't even have a mac? My macbook has been around for more then a year and has been through multiple falls on the concrete Redbull spills in the keyboard and the occasional throw on the couch from the other side of the room.
