jwise, Applying heat will cause the adhesive to loosen up, making it easier to come apart. So take a hair dryer, move it around the top of the foam, and take and ruler, or another thin edge(not sharpe as it could cut the foam) and work it around under the foam top. Keep using the hair dryer to warm the glue.
Take your time on this so you dont rip the foam top. Once the foam top is off, use rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, or acetone(carefully) to remove the additional glue stuck to the deck.
This should take around 20 minutes or so to carefully do. Take your time if you want to keep the foam in one piece, it not, just hack at it...Good luck, I hope this helps _________________ 10101 |

I'd use Prep Solve rather than nail polish remover or acetone. It's a little milder.
Be careful and go easy with the hair dryer as well, especially with the solvents present.
You don't want to melt the EVA or go up with a bang. |

G.K.D., you use the acetone after the foam is off...So there is not need for a hair dryer at that point. _________________ 10101 |
