wakemitch, it looks like a fun board therefore i would be willing to spend money on it. unless it's as much as an integ.
i miss my old 484 wood concaves like crazy.

urinal mint, i highly doubt that it will be the same price as an integ, the wood boards will probably be around the same price as other wood boards, but don't take me word for it, only time will tell. _________________ AKA Taco

Hey everyone. Dalefish got hold of me and said there were a bunch of questions about the boards so i'm here to try shed some light. If anyone has any questions they want to send Gdub directly email me on dorin@goodwoodwakeskates.com
Stoked everyone is digging on the graphics. Thanks a lot for the props.
1. all the boards in the range will have contoured top decks. that goes for the wood and composite models.
2. John Ruark is now a Goodwood team rider. We have also picked up ubergrom Dylan Mitchell in SA as well as Adam Munro and Ryan Leary in Australia. They join the existing team members Dieter Humpsch, Russ Daymond, Terry Hannam and Louis Floyd. Our team is badass.
3. We haven't finalised the pricing, but we're working on it.
4. If you'd like to pre-order a board, email me. we'll make sure you're among the first to get one.
5. the lengths of the range now go from 99cm (Ruark) - 111cm (Deliquesce) with the other three models fitting in between.
6. the wood range is being masterminded and built by John and Dieter in florida while the foam composites are made in South Africa.
i hope that answers everything? you can keep up to date with what we're doing on our facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/dorinb?ref=name#/gdubwakeskates?ref=ts) and as soon as we get these boards sorted we'll be revamping the site.

Just to shed some light as someone posted this which is not 100% correct: "Diets board and gang plank look sickkk... Brandon McLean did a really good job on those graphics.. " ...
Looks like Dieter's two boards were done by Brandon McLean indeed but the rest of the range was done by an amazing local South African (Durban to be exact) designer named Blane Fraser. He has been designing for Goodwood pretty much since the start and also created their new logo which changed in 2008!
Again ... their new range is looking awesome. Slam dunk!!!!! |
