so the only way the top deck of the bi-level is attached to the bottom is through the screws in the white supports? could it break in the middle?

What's the purpose of having a concave from end to end on the skatewake? it seems like that'd feel very odd compared to a traditional concave. But then again I'm not one for much concave anyway..i rode my cassette flatdeck and loved every bit of it until i got my simplex, and i still like riding it every once in awhile just to get the feel of a good 'ole flat deck.

personally, these decks don't appeal to me. jmo _________________ When it rains, it pours. |

				| Thanks for all the positive influence! Yes the Bi-L is a A.S. but coming from a skateboarding background that shape feels more comfortable to us. Not all of our board A.S. There is something about when you know your board is backwards that we like. It is hard to make a skate that everyone loves, but we are trying our best. We never would have thought people would like the spring in the tale and nose on a Bi-L. That was one thing we disliked including that's were they always broke. I compare it to wearing 4 pairs of socks when going snowboarding. Too sloppy. If you have a problem with breaking Bi's, the "Concept" Bi-L is rock solid. Keep in mind that shapes are very easy to change for a custom order. Standard spacers also available. Happy Thanksgiving.... |

P.s. Our standard spacers will give you that desired spring..... Our top decks are made of Maple and Bass so they are very strong. My favorite is stuffing with gravy on top! |

In my opinion, I don't think all bi-levels feel sloppy. I think part of it comes down to the wood in the top deck. From my experience, when a top deck is too soft it does not feel as responsive (or it is sloppy, as you say), and I've only felt this when I basically baked my top deck and it was starting to get waterlogged. When it's too stiff, then it feels super dead and it's just a heavy wakeskate. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

				| We produced these spacers as an alternative to the standard spacer. This board is still flexible. Just not as much in the tale and nose. Different strokes for different folks.... |

Here at ERA we are a big family and like to spread the love through it. My only concern is telling someone who put there time and effort into a graphic, that a couple of kids think it looks cheap. I realize for a 16 year old a graphic is everything. "Kids these days..." I would agree that our old ERA graphics are some of my favs. We wanted to try something different this time around. None of these graphics are set in stone, so we appreciate the impute. "We really do"

Ive explained this a few times... The reason our boards are so inexpensive is because you are buying direct from the manufacturer. No middle man after middle man after middle man. The average wake sport family makes around $120,000.00 a year. All wake sport companies know this. I'm going to give you some insider information, Wakeskates are very cheap to make.

correction : cheaply made wakeskates are very cheap to make.

as far as graphics are concerned, if somebody takes pride in their work they are not going to put out a halfassed product. a graphic on a board should be like the finishing touch to an epic product, not just some stupid shizzle slapped on to just have something there. |

Some of the higher end companies use high quality advanced materials and equipment to make quality boards and then they give us great deals on them compared to what they spent on the production. So wakeskate production is not really cheap but cheap production leads to cheap boards and lower quality.

The question is: How will your boards really stack up and have you really shaped up enough for us to trust your service and your products?

You already have some enemies on here so I hope the best for you guys and this product line. |

Oh and the graphics aren't bad, but I would suggest considering some of the criticism given by the other members instead of writing it off the them being kids.

Who better to ask about wakeskate graphic design than a group of wakeskaters? |

well, when I saw the post, I knew that I would be in for some shizz talking. everyone was actually playing nice for the first few posts.

it looks like era is working to improve their products. the many ply looks solid enough. good to have a cheap alternative.

I'm still waiting on integ to break the elusive $500 barrier for a wakeskate.
