LF sst riders beware

Hi sprocketamerica, welcome to wakeskating.com. It sucks that you're board broke, but even if it is LF's fault rail riding voids the warranty. Most companies follow that rule, fair or not. I feel bad that you had a less than happy relationship with your wakeskate, I hope you find a good replacement.

As for the comments you made towards many of the members, they're a bit innapropriate. You have handled yourself pretty badly, and you made assumptions that are not true. The majority of the people on this site love wakeskating with a passion, and do it as often as they can. Many people on this site, including those who posted in this thread, are extremely talented as well. That makes no difference however, because this is a public forum. The talent level of the members is not only an innapropriate insult but an irrelevant one. Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether they just learned how to get up or they've won Toe Jam.

As for calling people "fags," don't use foul language and insults as a crutch because you have nothing better to say. It just makes you seem unintelligent.

Honestly man you could go buy a brand new skate deck, break it on your first flatground ollie and do you think any skate company will send you a new deck? whether you grinded it or not? NO! So why do you think wakeskate companies will? We are lucky they offer us a limited warranty!

All I can say on this matter is I have had a couple of my SSTs break and Mike Z at LF did me a solid and got me new ones ASAP! If you treat the customer service people with dignity and respect they will help you out the best they can. CWB has a great CS as well. When I had an onset start to go dead Mat at CWB was totally there for me and sent me a new one. If you buy from a good shop they will do all the work for you and deal with your warranty department.

Yep...LF, CWB and Hyperlite all have really, REALLY good people working in their warranty departments. I know many people on this site aren't into the 'big 3' but there are some really good people working at each company that do actually care a lot about the sport.
