Best Free Anti-virus?

Alright i know half of you are going to hound me about "Macs dont get virus" blah blah, and i probably deserve it. But save yourself some typing, or maybe PM me it instead. Dont bother saying "mac is my anti-virus" or any other witty crap. To my point:

I have been using AVG Free Edition for a year or so now, its been great, i have never contracted a virus and defended against several 100 and burned and infinite amount of spyware. I download alot of torrents so its been perfect to defend against those malicious downloads.

Anyway, the free edition, as some of you may have seen if you use it, is going to become pay to use as of dec 1. I was just wondering if any of you guys use a good or better anti-virus. Please and Thank you!!

Try Avast, it is better than AVG. AVG has too many false positive for my liking...

both of them are good though, and you really can't go wrong with not paying for software.
