EJazzle, the concaves are solid

if i didnt get my 4 trac with a huge gash in the front that board would probably last a long time without hitting rails or anything

I would say that's a gross overstatement. I don't know what boards you were riding and from what year (outside of the bi-levels) but there are people who are still riding solid cassettes from way back. Look at raven. He rides those boards harder than anybody and he was able to get a lot of life out of his decks.

Cassette had a few different manufacturers. But at the end, the bi-levels were on point. I had one of the true 06 bis that had a different sealant on it. Those boards treated labellethrasher well and I would have been the same had I not messed with it on my own.

name pretty much any board from cassette up to 04 and i rode it. The most solid that i had was the concave with the black bottom graphic that just said cassette. I had to send back so many boards to them. finally i just got sick of it and rode the bottom deck of my hampson from the begining of 05 to the end of 06.. then i got an integ pretty much cause i was so sick of dealing with broken, warped splitting water logged boards. I dont think raven would still be riding his boards without a little fabrication. IMO from my situation my statement was not a "gross overstatement"

i wish i would of given the 06's a chance when they came out but i just could justify spending that much on that board due to my prior experiences. Sad

EJazzle, they were made by paul schmit using the same wood and glue as skateboards. If you have a board for more than 1 year you should start riding harder. long that wanker statement was the best thing in wakeskating right now! hahaha company's need to wake up and make a good cheap boards and ppl need to harden up in wakeskating or else its gonna die quick. P.S. dont talk bad about integs or they will find you!

with a minimal amount of intellegence , a little maintenance ( and a few coats of spar urethane ), it is not that difficult to keep a wooden board safe from water damage.

wakeskatedude, I had that board a few years ago, it flexed in the middle every time I would land coming down from a foot or more. It wasn't that good to start with either.

back to my simplex, let's say i ride, throw it in my car, usually with my life jacket and shoes on it, and it's hot outside it could distort the shape of the board? and would this also be true for let's say a bamboo tnt or team with centra fuse?
