Just got finished (for the most part) building the best wakeskating ride I could imagine.
Purchased a 16x 48 Alweld Aluminum Flat boat and side console and from there took it to the next level.
Steering Motor and throttle controls: came off my old boat (RIP). 60 mph fell off the trailer on I-55
Tower w/ a towing ball welded for towing: roll cage off my friends '80 Chevy S10
Thanks to: KICKER Audio Hookin it up with a bangin system KMT6 Tower speakers KM10 Subwoofer and DS series 6.5 Mids.
Board Racks hinged Flooring for Fat Sacks Live-well (ballast or dry storage) Shoe racks ski mirror this thing is roughing it smoothly.
All fabrication done by roommate and I.
Thanks for lookin tell me what you think. |

Ha. I did get to ride w/ R.lemons but not when he had the tower on his boat. And inside outs are glorious, but what was surprising was its got a nice w2w. w2w 180 are a blast.
I spent over time over 5K. I bought the engine and steering as a Katrina engine from a dealer.
40 Yamaha - $2100
Boat just frame - $2000
Tower- Free
Speakers- Kicker hooked it up through a lil sponsor, paid $160 for the SUB.
Amps- $40 dollars of ebay and an old one i had layin around.
The sound uses a ipod straight to amp via headphone jack to rca inputs. (by pass a head unit) every thing is controlled by the ipod.
Flooring- Marine Plywood we had in the shed that we water sealed.
The little things add up too. Screws hinges speaker wire electrical connectors jig saw blades drill bits ect.
Def a fun project boat that turns a lot of heads. |
