| Can some one please inform me as to why Obama has gotten a Nobel Peace Prize....when he has yet to do what he has gotten the prize for....? |

I'm not an Obama fan, and I thought it was kinda silly too. However, it's not like he asked for it, and his speech on the subject was pretty good. He said he felt like he didn't deserve it also. Sooooooo, that's about it on that subject.

Yep, it's a great big WTF especially since he was nominated 12 days into his term in office. But he himself acknowledged the WTFness of the award and will be giving the $1.4 million prize money to charity, so whatevs.
I still think Al Gore was the most ridiculous award recipient.

Speculation is they're trying to get him to reconsider expanding our forces in Afghanistan, and calm down on the Iran issue. Who really knows though, I guess nothing really good happend?
That kid that built the windmill in Africa is pretty awesome, they should give it to him instead.

its was absurd to give a peace award to a man who had sent 21,000 extra troops to Afghanistan, and that Obama "should have won the ‘Nobel Prize for escalating violence and killing civilians."
and he won a peace prize? haha
