If you have tried both which do you think is better? Pop? Durability? Concave?

dont become jwise. there are 1000000000 of these threads asking this same question. you are also asking whether or not you want a bi-level. if you do want a bi-level your only choice is a new. but overall i would pick a new over an oak.

i've ridden both and this is sorta what i think. (oak furchucker vs. new mogley)

oak = more concave, more pop because of steeper rocker, more expensive, slightly less durable

new = less concave, a little less pop, less expensive, more durable

you can't really go wrong with either one, i like both a lot

Oak is more durable than NEW in my opinion. I've ridden both and broken a handful of NEWS and haven't broken my oak. In fact I have broken a new in half, less than a month into owning it. It's hit or miss with them, you either get a solid board that wont break or you get a board that will split or delam quickly.

If i were you i would go with oak but ive ridden both and both are great boards. If your willing to spend 100$ on something that may break and are willing to get another its all you. thats just my opinion.

Andrew MassIVE, learn not to call someone out until you know who they are. Makes you look very dumb.

DirtyBrown, get an Oak. from what boards you have ridden before you will live the concave that Oak has.

OAK=good
NEW=not very good

I have had two Oaks while my friends have had New's I think Oak's pop higher, better and are just a better more comfortable ride but I do think they're both pretty equal in durability cuz most wood skates will get a pressure crack or delam after a while but if you're gonna be sliding a lot that sticker graphic that New uses acts pretty good for a sliding base but definitely Oak all the way! I think the only reason people buy New's is cuz you can get them cheaper but it's really just personal preference cuz you're definitely gonna get people saying New over Oak and Oak over New so yeah.

DirtyBrown, Woodworks prices have dropped! and the durability of these boards are stupid! if you want you can get a carbon wrap which is a bit more but if you want something for durability then there you have it.

and you can get this with or w/o graphic

definitley get a wood works, these boards are put together with passion and are solid for sure. Their concave is beautiful and has massive pop with a nice 3 stage to it. The board flips so perfect on axis with flip tricks.
