that's a pretty interesting read. it will definitely make me think about taking ibuprofen before i ride, which i usually do due to my ankle.

i'd like to see more studies on it though.

urinal mint, thanks. i wasn't aware that much research had been done on how harmful ibuprofen is. I guess I too will limit my intake. alot of my friends that have been skating for years pop a couple of ibuprofens every time they go to the park because of their knees and ankles. Gotta give them a heads up as well.

skimboarder, well as with anything that's 'good' for you is always somehow 'bad' at the same time.

I'll always refuse to take any painkiller whether it be Advil, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.

the fda has ordered makers of advil and what not to lower their instructed doses. most cases of liver failure are attributed to these types of medications along with lortab and vicodin, etc.
