i know you probably aren't too into this kinda ride, but my dad has a 09 cl65 bi turbo pushing around 600lbs or hp and torque i think. the mf'r won't me drive it though. lemons you need to come ride soon when i get the little winch park set up

I looked up the HP and times on a cl65. 550BHP and 12.6 1/4 mile.

My 240 ran that, at only around 350HP.

It IS a super sick car tho... I'd love to roll that shizzle.

Frye, Not built for strait lines, If I was into strait lines I would have got a T88, Which I could have bought for the same price as my smaller precision billet dual ball bearing turbo. But I wanted more useable streetable power, so I got a DBB with a small A/R for really fast spool. And I dam sure wouldn't have paid $2,000 for my Coilovers. I'm building a badass street machine/daily. Hate all you want.

I made this thread because I have a lot of good friends on this site that are into cars as well, and I know they enjoy a good build, especially if it's a friend of theirs. My real build thread is on clublexus. shizzle even DD and bobby miller built/owned/own some badass cars.

This car is a daily driven Lexus with a single turbo supra motor, a perfect sleeper while retaining full leather interior, A/C, power steering and street ability. Nothing wrong with that. Smash

ya i think you can make just as much a performance machine for ALOT LESS money than the amg, but it does have some insane interior functions and driver friendly stuff. too bad they weigh 6000lbs or so. i want a car again.

mojo, Yea, That's the drawback right there, the weight.

But dam son... It's still a badass car. I got next to one in Orlando on i-4 that had a roof spoiler and black rims all murdered out... we rolled down our windows and talked to each other going 80mph. Laughing

It had exhaust too, sounded freaking MEAN!!!!

im not sure i want it though because i want a stock one and do the mods so i know the car and all

he was gonna get a stock one and do it all himself but he found a great deal on a car that had a bunch of mods already and fell in love with it. so he just got that one.

I was in the same boat as you once, I had an S13 and wanted more of a luxury car that was really comfortable and can be made really fast. I'm warning you tho, once you get a GS, You'll never go back. Check out Clublexus.com they have badass forums.

On a side note, The build has begun. Ripped out the exhaust mani and put my downpipe and turbo mani on for a second. I have to kinda mock things up, because my wastegate flange on my mani is a 4bolt HKS stlye, and i wanted to run a Tial. The tial flange is a round V-band. I have to find a good stainless welder. As of now I'm just cleaning up the engine bay, painting the valve covers ect.

If anyone else here has work done, or built an engine up, Post up pics of your project!

The same motor your GS will have.

I chose to go this route for several reasons.
