you got to go with the wave skimming. none of that flat land stuff. i've got a victoria ultra vac with a traction pad. skimming is great when the surfs smaller and unsurfable. NJskim.com has some sick vids.

there was a local tourney here and a kid was stickin vflips out the back and comin close to tre flips... we have crazy mad good local skimmers here

I skim professionally. It helps so much its not even funny because with a skimboard its all rails no fins. If you want to see some good videos go to www.humit.net they are based out of St. Pete Im talking to him about getting into wakeskating but for right now hes mostly skim.

Im on the west coast of FL too but I mostly do flatland stuff because there are usually no good waves where I go. but I like to skim waves whenever I can. Ive got all kinds of variations of shuvs down I can think of, 3 shuvs , and only a few bigspins. Both my boards are zaps
