Can someone tell me how these two boards would ride differently?
Only statistical difference i can find is the Horan is .5" longer and a little wider... So I assume the horan's a little heavier?

Im 6'2" like 165.

Thanks a lot

palmwake, i also think that the horan/team has a wider flat spot between the side concave then the other concave skates

wakemitch, I'm almost positive that the Horan is symmetrical. I've ridden the shapes from the past 2 years, and I liked them both a lot. The only a-symmetrical board Oak produced last year is the team. (Even on the Oak website the only board that they list as A-symmetrical is the team)

There was some confusion on ws.com when the new shape came out that it was the same shape as the Team... however I think what happened is they changed the style of concave to be the same as the team, as opposed to the older "effective" concave of the original Oak Horan. I personally liked the older style of concave better... but my buddy BB who had both boards preferred the newer shape.

senorbueno, im pretty positive that the 2009 horan is the same shape as the 2009 team. the only difference is that the graphics are different and the team comes with udders.

wakemitch, I stand corrected. I prefer symmetric shapes, and when I rode that board I couldn't tell that it was asymmetrical like you would notice on a LF deck.

i loved the 08 horan concave, it dont see why they changed it. you get so much more room for your feet and you get better flicks

the only thing i didnt really like was that it weighed a lot more

i think i may have discovered the inspiration for his graphic Laughing
