You don't need to start a new thread for every board you are interested in, just keep your questions in your other "new board" thread.

And yes, that board will be huge.

The board is pretty big, and the wood feels like it will fall apart in a few rides, its like balsa wood.... i havnt rode it yet, but touched it and seen it, i think i could like break it apart with my fingers lol.

-=AlexXx=-, pretty much. i couldnt stand riding this board. after a few rides the bottom deck was delaming and the top deck was chiping off, but durability aside, it rode funky

If you like CWB, Stu's new board next season is a 39.5 I think

I have the Onset. I am 6' and 175lbs and I feel that the board is too big for me.
As far as durability goes I use it for winching, rails and boat riding and It has held up well considering it is just a wood deck. Most of the graphic is gone now and there are a few deep scars in the ply but there are no signs of delaming ect. I guess I got lucky as a lot of others have had trouble with this.
I am looking to get a new board and it wont be an onset. I was a board with a more subtle concave through the middle and larger kicktails(area not height)
I am also not going to get a wood deck as I wont something more durable.
Here are some boards that I have been checking out:
Liquid force mod 40"
Liquid force SST 40.5
Obrien Intox
Intregrity Simplex(not available anymore!?!) or TNT
Ronix Zariel 40"
The new signature and arson skates are also interesting but I haven't found heaps of info on them yet.

Anyway I definitely would not recommend the Onset for you even based purely on size!
Hope this helps! Very Happy

I guess i very well may be one of the only people who love this board. I have one and love it. It's not big at all, however i have a very wide stance. As far as your size goes it really doesn't matter, it's all about how you ride the board, however for MOST people your size, 42 may be a little big.
