i am looking into getting a new vest and i really like the look of the o'niell gooru but i have herd they stretch alot. i am normally a small in regular vests my current vest is a small but it seems big and my old vest is a small but it seems too small so my question is if i were to get an o'niell gooru would it stretch to the point that it would not be usable?

carson, i wear an XS in the gooru and now its too big for me after two seasons. it was crazy tight when i got it but now too loose.

definitely go with an extra small.

This blows.. I have one and love it, but its pretty new so it still fits perfect. Wonder if O'Neill would warranty it if it stretches out within the first year?? has anyone tryed to send one back?

they wont warranty that. its and awesome vest and i wont ride anything else, now but youve got to buy it smaller then normal. i make sure to tell all my customers that when buying vests. its also not a vest you share.

just like if you let someone borrow your Kashmir sweater and they stretch out the neck hole, thats why you let them borrow the metlife sweat shirt.

I <3 my gooru, and everything wakemitch said is true. Mine was intended for chris0 and thus sized for him. Well at the time I was rather large in the midsection and the vest seemed like it would be to tight but since I felt great when I put it on. Although that was a season or so ago and the vest is starting to get loose and stretchy but I love it.

Letters haven't fell off yet but they have begun to crack.

Overall I love my gooru and will just buy a new one when this one is dead.

-scuba

also when I first got it i was 185ish lbs and it floated me fine...
