In Cali thay don't need to grow in grow houses as much because the climate is more condusive to outdoor growing, especially the northern county's like Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, and Del Norte. Florida is too harsh outdoors in the prime growing seasons. Plus, here in Floriduh our drug policies are still ass backwards which leads to more operations being busted. As far as potency, a good outdoor Norcal bud is every bit as potent as the indoor stuff we get in FL. It's all about the advancements in seed genetics, not so much about hydro techniques. I'd much rather have an organically grown soil based herb( indoor or outdoor grown) than hydroponically grown, they just taste sooo much better.
