today me and some other people were using my winch just riding down my street with skateboards and this old lady walking down the street stops to watch.
after we turned the engine off she told us how she thought it was cool how we made that and that she remembered when she used to ski behind one of those a long time ago in ski shows.
i asked her how long ago it was and she said back in the 60's.
i couldn't believe that anybody was doing that before 2003 when thomas made the "first one" in sfumato

russ, there is one of those things a MK cable in the uk, but i've never seen it being used.
Think thorpe has one too??? |

| When you think about it, it kind of makes sense if a winch came before cable systems. To me that just seems like the logical progression although to be honest, I've never really put much thought in to it before now. |
