you could build one in a day or less than a day if you had all of the parts and tools

ours took us about a month because we ordered some wrong parts........ we ended up spending 450 on it though _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

Then you need something like -

1.6.5hp probably around 300 USD

2. Torq-a-verter brand CVT cover and transmission... around 180 USD

3. driven sprocket ( anywhere from 60 to 72 tooth sprocket with a 7 to 8 inch spool... about 30 USD

4. about 10ft of chain... #35 pitch chain is preferred but #41 will work as well approx 15 USD

5. Belt for the CVT comes with #2

6. a hitch pin for transporting winch using the hitch of a car

7. pillow block bearings, holds shaft onto the frame... approx 30 USD

8. Gocart axle... 30 in long, cut to fit your frame... approx 30 USD

9. ibolt can be used for rope guidance 2 USD

10. Fairlead rollers for rope guidance onto the spool 10 USD

Then you need a handle, rope, wheels, spool, and spool guard. Those things and some nuts and bolts and you should be set. _________________ http://www.integrity-wake.com/
