Does anyone else feel the considerable amount of drag when riding an Arson? I know I do.

When I compared this board to a few others I had, the Arson had quite a bit more rocker than the others. Is this the reason it drags? I was pooped out after riding it 5 min. Usually I ride about 15-20min sets on my other boards.

nopulseimpulse, What other boards are you riding... You shouldn't be feeling any more drag than a standard concave unless you've been riding a catalyst or something along those lines.

The response from most everyone has been that they thought the board was faster than a traditional wood concave.

The decks only got 2.1" of rocker so I'm not sure what your comparing it to. The only major difference is a smaller flat spot in the center stage.

rode it this afternoon a little faster pace today. around 21.5-22mph. it seemed much better.

i still noticed a little drag. but no worries.

this board has a crap load of pop and is really easy to rotate. wake to wake was super solid too.

It's the only board I ended up riding today.

i also ride a cassette and an integ

Take the board out of the box it was shipped in and then ride it. I can ride at any speed and have no drag. The omens yes they dragged and yes you had to ride fast. But the new boards have no drag. Just joking about the box, but that is the only reason i could see it dragging.

nopulseimpulse, I think it's your signature thats causing the drag. Also, about those 15-20 minute sets...
