some cops are on SUCH power trips.... so pathetic. i donno if i ever told anyone on here about the time i got arrested... but it was crazy.. cops were SUCH dicks. power trips...

I cannot condemn all cops like some of you guys. I've had run ins with good and bad cops. Just like I've had run ins with good and bad people. That's what it boils down to.

I have had my share of bad cops, but more often I run into pretty cool ones (ones that just make me pour out beer, throw away weed, get sober driver etc.)

nickl011, true. but the people can't arrest me or take authority. I just avoid cops in general.

Story: One of my buddies our Sr year in high school got pulled over in his neighborhood at night on his way home, yanked out of his car, thrown to the ground, placed him at gun point face down in the middle of the street and hand cuffed with no questioned answered. Cops were screaming at him "stay the fvck down" "shut up" "don't move"...Had to stay there for around 20mins or so until more cops came, there were about ten cop cars there. Then they came over, picked him up to take him to the back of the police car to go to jail until a cop said "wait, this isn't the guy". Took the hand cuffs off, packed up and left and told him "sorry". They were looking for a guy in the same car as his but apparently failed to notice that it was the wrong person. Crazy Eyes

ive been pretty lucky when it comes to cops, and the only time i had anything questionable on me and a cop came it turned out to be a cool cop he didnt even get out of the car, just told us to stay safe

As far as getting pulled over, its all the same. Once again whether it be a good cop or bad, I have an equal opportunity to get a ticket. They just try to fill their quota. Doesn't matter if its jaywalking or 3 miles over the speed limit. They try to get by with as little as possible, a problem I see growing every day. I know at the place I work, there are very few people that put in an honest effort.

its a cop's duty to put in an honest effort 100% of the time. if that is too much to ask then they should not wear a badge.

A few weeks ago a few friends and I were in Indy for a phish show. One of my friends ate
too much L and didn't understand what the cops were sayiNg to him. They ended up tazing him off and on for a little over three hours(he is triping really hard at this point) and then let there German Shepard chew on the backs of his thighs while he is in cuffs. Needless to say he's all f'ed in the head and can't sleep without having nightmares about dogs trying to kill him.
He had nothing on him but a wallet.
