Looking into getting a new ski, has anyone ever used the FX HO Cruise control? Dose it hold speed well?

I'm not sure it's worth the money considering the minimal effort to maintain speed on a Yamaha Waverunner.

gporter, That what i was thinking but it could be nice if you have a driver not paying attention or just a bad driver. Also there are some other features that might come in handy like the quick shift trim system.. i wonder if that would change the shape or size of the wake? Better rear view mirrors is always a plus, and it is 80 pounds heavyer and 2ins wider!
Just wondering if anyone has used these options and has any feedback?

Thanks

I used to have a yamaha waverunner with the quick shift trim system, and it did significantly change the wake from being big and whitewashed to being mellow and peaked. It's a pretty useful. Idk about the cruise control though. Sounds pretty sick!

DirtyBrown, the trim is awesome. Its great to have the ability to trim down a bit with one rider/one driver and then trim it up with two people on the ski. When it come to the cruise control...don't waste your money. its not that great IMO and better yet, you can make your own cruise control with nearly anything. I like to use a piece of wooden block and cut out steps in it, so that there are different widths. Then just wedge that in to the gap where the throttle cable is...just be super careful with any of these cruise ideas and make sure to have your lanyard on so you dont have any ghost riding skis
