i've got 1200' of amsteel blue 7/16" on my winch. My spool worked great with the bulletlines, but it is just to wide (10" between walls) for the amsteel. Has anyone had problems with the way the amsteel spools, we are constantly getting tangles when we pull it out and loose loops when we are running the winch. I know i'll build a new spool this week with a 8" or 6" width, but i'm wondering if there is anything else i can do. I have a standard atv fairlead on it to, will an eye-bolt type fairlead help it spool better?
