Toxis, basically is, only the board rotation is initiated by the hand. hence "board varial." i hate calling it that though. i prefer finger shuv, hand shuv, etc. board varial just sounds kind of dumb..

it looks to me that he does a switch big then stops the rotation with his hand. It doesn't look like he spins it with his hand... I guess I can see it in the second run a bit but...... I'm still not convinced. Maybe he helps it that last 90 with his hand... that's all I"m giving it.
