Part of me is hoping that Google Maps isn't very up to date because the area we usually camp at doesn't have any water... Crying or Very sad

scott a, google map satellite images are usually a year or more older

scott a/chriscut, usually google maps is from '06. also, keep in mind that when they schedule the sat passes, they do so based on the typical weather pattern (IE: summer california; winter florida--clear n sunny)

So to everyone who is worried about the lake levels I went ahead and used one of the most advanced forms of technology and used my TELEPHONE to call the front desk and ask and found out the lake is completely full. Google maps aint got sh!$ on Graham Bell haha

I wonder exactly how "full" full is, because if it's full to the old waterline (where the green meets brown) then there won't be a whole lot of room for camping and we'll be bumping shoulders with the pride of Wheatland Laughing

Plus, wouldn't part of the dirt access road be underwater that you drive on to get to the overflow lot?

The lake wont be too high since it can only get as high as the dam is. If more water enters into the lake it will just overflow over the top of the damn into the river.

It will be the same level that it's been for other convergences I'm sure.
