signal vs mod

can anyone tell me the difference between the two besides one having griptape and the other having a foam top?? thanks Very Happy

The Mod comes with 4 nubs, 2 for the front and 2 for the back. That way you get nose and tail slides.
The nubs are thin half circles.

PHF, One has foam and the other has grip. I think they are the same shape and everything else though.

They are the same besides the nubs, and of course the 8 holes drilled for the nubs. And the grip. Besides that they are identical.

Also the signal has a slippery, glossy finish, while the mod has a matte finish on the base. Not sure which is better. I LOVE my mod tho. Definitely the most pop I have ever seen on a skate, My ollies doubled in height since I bought it.

basically there is a $50 differerence and you get a pre-drilled board with nubs. but if you wont use the nubs, you can always buy the signal and rip off the foam and apply grip.
