just thought i'd make this thread for fun, there's a good possibility it exists and i might have even made it but i couldnt find it if i did haha

compare a wakeskater to a skater and for what reason

andrew pastura = chris cole, can do everything you ever knew existed, super steezy and clean

nick taylor = mike mo, everything popped huge and stomped super clean with steeze all the time, sketch does not exist in their riding

ben horan = billy marks, pure style cats, end.

danny hampson = guy mariano, og's that disappeared for a little and came back with a bang! obviously not same reasoning though haha

kevin calvez = jesus fernandez, foreign shredders haha

brian grubb = tony hawk, vert

stu shinn = danny way, go super huge on everything

marcus = sean malto, young guns!

raven = koston, old school and still shredding like no other

frye = chris haslam, cavemen rippers

tj = buttery ass donovan, gangsta ass niggas

thomas horrel = stacy peralta, explanation necessary?

I think of Thomas kind of like Mark Gonzales. He showed us how to ride a wakeskate in a way no one had ever thought of really before, also brought winching to the forefront and now he has taking a break to do some art, open up his bike shop and get away from the scene. Maybe one day he will come back and drop a new part.

freerider4, I would agree with you on this. I was reminded of the same thing when I read a recent jason dill interview, and he was asked how he felt when gonz had left the scene a number of years back. he said something like "give us your best and then leave" and for me that hit the nail right on the head.

I've heard people say I ride Jesus, I don't know if its my ability to fall and never actually get wet or in between sets when I turn the Amite Poo Water into wine for a quick relaxing communion between the fellas
