Better yet, how does fb shuv beat front lip 270 shuv?
It doesn't.
But I guess when your manager is the judge it does.
Bret won, everyone knows it. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2VJfZOomIM |

| i donno i wasnt say a lip 270 out is better... i bet i could do that b4 i could front board shuv out... seems like the set up was just too intense for a "jam" seems like way to many riders couldnt even ride away from it let alone do anything to crazy down it. Who built that gap? why wasnt it at the project like prior TJ's... is TJ still the scott byerly toe jam ? Is scott still behind most of it? Seems like a rider wasnt really behind this pool gap... looks well constructed... just not the riders choice. motocross ramp? i donno. just my 2 cents. |

someone else said that step up productions built it, and they were also thanked in the press release, so now I don't feel so bad for repeating that.
In my mind, I think they're a little more famous for wakeboarding rails (which is cool because ryan davis used to be a rider for wake tech)...they did build whatever wake set ups were going on during the expo on wall street for the past number of years (I think excluding the first year)...they've built the rail set ups used at the malibu team challenge, I think they built the rail set up a the Xgames in 2006, that bus jumping stunt that went on last fall with some wakeboarder. I'm not sure off hand what other wakeskating things they built (and this is not to say they haven't built any). There's not much on their website: http://www.stepupproductions.com/ and more imagery if you care: http://www.myspace.com/stepupproductions
Looking at the pics, I just thought the rail set up was a little strange because the ollie onto the rail didn't look large, but the drop at the bottom was huge. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

ok...
1. ryan cry some more. ..... chickity china the chinese chicken.
2. im not saying bret shouldnt have won. burts my boy...
3. THIS IS AN EDUCATED GUESS: remember when gd was doing front board bs big out at toe jam year 2(i think). he landed it in practice but just because it was landed does not mean its in contention for the win. he didnt land it in the finals. so what im saying is, andy may have landed it, which i highly think he did even thought i wasnt there, cuz andy is better than you (everyone), but in his heat other tricks may have been landed that were considered better. now in the final, the front board shuv might have been the best trick. now ryan, if u think silas helped ben win,,,,,, go die. even though i like u, i just laugh when u beach like this. its the internet.
sorry if this is confusing, but im having a hard time thinking straight this early.... |

All I'm saying is bret had 4 consecutive bangers when everyone else was struggling to land something. Best trick or not.. consistency has to be recognized. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2VJfZOomIM |
