So are there any detailed photos of the Simplex yet, other than just the graphic? I'd like to see what something looks like before I buy it. It definitely sounds like there are some new ideas built into this board. I'm pretty stoked about it.

Another thing. With this board being neutrally buoyant, does that mean it will not float to the surface if I fall? What about salt water, since it makes objects more buoyant and what not.

nopulseimpulse, There arn't YET that i know of, but shape wise, you can imagine it as the same shape as all of the integrity boards.

And about the buoyancy issue... I received a prototype for the simplex, IT FLOATS. Yes it pops up with you every time you fall like every other board. But Birch is a dense wood, It just wasn't as buoyant as our other boards, because all of our other boards have alot of foam in them, and this proto is pure birch and feels just like a wood board. i've gotten used to it and have ridden it every day since i got it with no problem.

But that's the reason it's a prototype, to make changes and tune it because everyone at Integrity is perfectionist. I called Erich and he found a way to make it more buoyant, even tho i adjusted fine after a few falls.

Haha.. We wouldn't sell you guys a board that just sank.

For people who love the feel of a wood board on the water, and the weight of a wood board, and those who want a solid board that will never break and are on a budget. The simplex is the one! Trust me.

I love the simplex, but nothing compares to the Centrafuse!
