i went into journeys yesterday

and they have the nike wakeskate shoe

Confused

good thing or Bad thing?

sad thing cause nike wont even sell shoes to my local skate and surf store that has been around forever.. seriously forever. Neutral

our local shops want 6.0 but they cant get it

but they will sell them at journeys right next to the sketchers Confused

someone that rides for 6.0 should say something

people wont know they are for wakeskating. they are in journeys because they are nike and they are crazy colors and that is what sells.

i like what nike is doing for its riders but i still dont think its genuine

they have them at the surf shop here in daytona (maui nix) i was surprised then i saw them but the workers there didnt know they were for wakeskating and i doubt if they believed me lol

I have 2 friends whose shops had to close down due to all the lame mall shops. Zumies, Journeys, ect.. Dont buy from them, and if Nike sells to them and not the local shops.. then dont buy Nike. I had a pair of Nikes last year,, I will not wear them again. Go DVS

its the point that the kids these days know nothing about supporting a local shop

they just might as well get sponsored by Johnson And Johnson, 3m, GE, and Virgin

why would Nike even care about "small" business'? That doesn't help pay Tiger Woods 100 million. They aren't even made in america. But that is business, I will still buy them if I can afford them
