Winch Epiphany

I just had an epiphany about how to build my version of the winch, Im going to totally redesign it, and I think I can Make them for cheaper and I was considering selling them if they don't violate any patents , so my question is, does anyone know the patent numbers for the winch REWIND produces, and my other question is, in light of the current 2600 dollar price tag, would you guys consider paying say 1100 dollars(est.) for a winch with about 40 to 50 hp(at least 2X what the winch is running) with a hydraulic clutch,(more durable than the centrifugal clutch the winch uses), and a gearbox that allows you to pull at any speed between 10mph all the way up to 40mph, and a disc brake system that allows you to stop the rope at any point, and unlike the winch Ill give you my exact estimates for cost versus profit at that price 1100 dollars for that winch I make roughly 50 to 75 dollars after recouping my expenses approx. 520 dollars, If I did do this it would be a limited run and after they were gone thats it, Im not looking to make alot of money I just want to prove that a better winch can be made for cheaper, and in the process hook some of you guys up, and maybe make a little scratch to buy me a new Karma, no lofty goals, I won't know for sure how feasable this is for another month,(gotta line up all my connects for parts), but I really would like you guys feed back, and the patent numbers, and if my design violates the patents, well then, I might just let you buy all the parts and I will donate my labor that way nobody gets sued, IDK im just really stoked right now at this possibility feedback please

I live in cali too,so you probably could pick-it up so it wouldn't cost an assload to ship and I will keep everybody posted of my progress on this post

I was thiking about using a moped and taking off the rear tire then putting the rope through the valve stem hole in the rim and just pinning that lil F#@ker, it would make the line wind up around the rim, I know what your going to say and yes i would weld a guide on to the swing arm to make sure everything went together smoothly. koolbeans, Im not sure yet, I have to get it assembled, and see what it weighs, but Somebody needs to hook me up with the patent numbers or this will go nowhere.

gregg, With out a doubt, I may even post a topic on exacly how to build it, but I think it will be really hard to build it as cheap as Im planning without my "connects", but I've been thinking of way around that, Ill keep everybody posted.
