Hey,
Looks neat, pretty well made.
I would only worry that it might not be strong enough to cope with pulling an adult weight from a deep start.
We used 2 brake discs joined with 6 Massive steel bolts in a similar way.
First time we used it, the bolts bent out of shape with the force of the rope. Bolts were 3/4 inch and solid.
But.... it depends on the gearing also - ours was wrong

BryceBell, looks good but probably hella heavy! i second that, what jat447, said: the size of the tubing and threaded rod might not be sufficient for the forces working on that thing.

looks good, agree with what jat447, andbachlonso, said but would also add that it looks kind of wide. Too wide a spool and your line will start piling up and slipping off causing a jerky pull while riding. try to aim for a spool and line guide within about two inches difference of width.

Yeah thats the only think i was worried about was it not being strong enough.. it seems pretty strong right now tho.. its not that wide either... the center bars are only 6 inches.. Montgomery, what size of thread did you use for yours?

yeah i think i used a little smaller thread than that.. but it seems to be pretty strong.. we will see how it holds up when we test everything out
