08 Horan and the 09 Team

is there any major difference between them? which one do yall favor?

I have ridden the 08 horan but haven't ridden the 09 team, but i have stood on it and held it. The 08 horan has a little steeper kicktails and the concave is pretty solid. Everything on the 09 seems to be better to me, the kicktails are less abrupt and smoothed out aswell as the concave. It is also a-sym which I prefer. Overall i would say the 09 team.

thanks for the info, i wonder if anyone on the actual oak team prefers the 08 horan over the teams cause it seems like not many of them do...

that seems weird to me, because i rode the 08 horan and it felt pretty much perfect. i don't see how they could make it any better

check the post on the 09 oaks on the main page it explains the diff of the boards the 08 horan shape has been discotinued

the team deck is basically THE oak wakeskate...it's a team favorite. The 08 horan is extreme compared to their other decks. I personally dug it, but I know not everyone did (as it goes with anything). If you are looking for more subtle top deck contours, the team might be better for you. I think last year's oak article might have a measurement on the flat spot for the concave on the team, just to compare it to the horan.
