If I fall asleep for extended periods of time after eating sugary foods, does that mean I'm diabetic?

one of my friends brought up the possibility and now I'm a tad bit spooked.

Try eating more sugary stuff as you get tired... maybe the sugar will help give you more energy to stay awake.

The classic triad of symptoms is always being hungry, thirsty, and having to pee alot (poldypsia, polyphagia, and polyurea). If you're getting sleepy in early afternoon (around 2ish) that is fairly common since that is when your body is naturally tired.
