Well, the krappy economy finally kicked me in the nuts...
Anyone else being told that, "We are very sorry to inform you that because of the poor economy, and reducing company cost your position is being eliminated"
This Sucks, I am sorry I just needed to rant/vent |

I feel ya man, my dad got layed for a few years back, he was a trainer at FPL (florida power and light) and because of the economy, they were no longer hiring people so his job was just no necessary.... he worked there for 23 years. :/ sucks but nothing you can do about it... now he owns a gas station, that sucks too...  |

but start looking really quick for job fairs right now
a lot of companies are looking to get that new stimulus money so they have to have new jobs in place by April
my uncle got laid off too and he has been going to jobs fairs all over lately
just be persistent

| it's even worse when your company will bring in a new manager to try and do everything by himself and cutting out all the other designers. Stupid. I lose my job and the new manager is going to lose his wife. |
