you have to look at board sports LOOOOONG before anything on the water was invented. They called it Regular because they thought that was the norm (and it should be! lol) and if you rode "backwards," it was just goofy.

off the top of my head it does seem like there are alot of hammer droppers who are lefty's, but still sick goofy footers too. i'm a goofy rider so i'd be pulling for them, but this contest needs to happen, and in the right way. i'm seeing nike6.0/redbull doing it correctly.
