Generally speaking, just because someone is a "newbie" doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about. Lots of people read for awhile before typing. Others just start shizzle.

As far as this thread goes, I'd subscribe to quality over quantity. Don't post just to post and kick this back to the top.
