I know this really has nothing to do with wakeskating, but a lot of us probably go tubing in between sessions to just go nuts.

That being said, what has your favorite tube been among the ones you have owned? I'm looking into buying a new sick tube, but I want a one-person tube I can easily maneuver through barrell rolls w2w and kill people on.

haha tubing is torturous fun, but best with 2+ people riding together IMO. I don't have one, but I've ridden in a 3 person triangle style (something like this: http://www.qualityinflatables.com/images/20024toplarge.jpg) and with the 3 of us in it, we were able to easily pull wake to wakes and not flip. Mad fun even with top speed turns, although I seem to recall being flung off in one of those tight turns and cartwheeling over the top of the water hehe I cracked the sh17 out of my back but it was so worth it.

You might as well just beat the shizzle out of each other and skip the tube...you get the same accomplished. Smile

tubers are the gayest. slalomers are cooler. save your gas and energy and just ride more or hit the dawn patrol, nap, and hit the dusk sesh. and the flying kite tube thing almost killed a buddy of mine literally.

My favorite tubes were always the little 1 mans. They had to be just right though, too top heavy and they sucked, not enough air and they dragged, no where to grab meant no control. But we had a fizzle blast on em. And if you have enough arm strength you can "ollie" or "bunny-hop" em which gets you some extra air on rollers.

We always had to one up eachother on who got whipped the farthers, held on the longest and best of all... got booted.

Also the flat disc that hold 3 people are great for riding doubles and just gettign sent into a massive D-up. I have a younger cousin who at the time weighed maybe 110lbs and i was around 160 and both of us were on a flat disc. Well we had a 06 VLX filled to the max with people and the wedge down and my cousin who was driving sent us into a double up justright that we were sent about 12 feet up. When we landed my cousin bounced off the tube and got sent up about 5 feet and i some how held on.

Another fun thing is to get 3+ tubes out there (big ass tubes work best) and start playing king of the hill and jumping back and forth.

Man, I need to go buy a new tube for this summer.

EDIT: Forgot to add, but a '76 Tahiti Jet boat with a 460 CJ in it = amazing whips... Twisted Evil

tubing can get rowdy. i watched a kid get knocked out cold when he fell off and hit his head on the other kids ass. one went to the hospital, the other could barely walk.

every year we do 3 "biscuit championship"s. spread over 3 weeks across summer. we have two single mans with a flat disc in the middle "the pancake".
we do it behind a tige 20V.
so much shiit talking goes on its not funny. people claiming they are clear favourites, others are rookies and shouldnt even be out here. it is outrageously funny.

so three people start out behind the boat, one on each and rule is, if in a one-manner, you must sit. not kneel.
you get two falls(a fall is when you completely fall off, if you are still hanging on the boat slows and you get back on), and once you fall twice your back in the boat and someone new goes out. the new person gets to go on the pancake. this process repeats until you reach 7 falls. 7 falls your eliminated. this year on stop 3, there was 3 people left on 6 falls, one being me. all three of us copped the double up. the two others fell and i was declared biscuit champion. Smash Birthday
